Description
BG Word builder is a casual game for two players that is best described as scrabble on speed. Each player takes turns playing a letter to the 15 cell long row, and the first to form a complete word wins the round. Since players need to play letters consecutively, the game involves both strategy, in trying to pick a word which doesn't give your opponent an instant win, and extensive knowledge of the English language, since if you have a letter combination that doesn't exist in a word and your opponent challenges you you risk losing the round.
Each word created gains the player who builds it points, and the first to 50 points over consecutive rounds wins the match.
As usual with spoonbill games, the game is self voicing via MS sapi, has the ability to play background midi music, and has high contrast options as well as the speech meaning players with any level of vision can successfully challenge each other's verbosity.
Also, as with the other Spoonbill games, Word builder is absolutely free.
