Description
BG Word Kandy is the latest in Spoonbill games ever expanding set of word games, and is a must play for anagram fans.
Based on the popular online game, the object is simple. Each round the player is given six letters and time is put on the clock. The object of the game is to create as large a word as possible within the allotted time (there is always at least one six letter word available). The catch however is that a player can submit a shorter word if they wish (three letters or longer), however this misses out on the six letter bonus. On the other hand, since a player also earns points for the amount of time remaining on the clock, how long a word to submit is something of a balancing act.
Of course, if your the sort of person who prefers time to think, the timer can be switched off instead to offer a more relaxed alternative.
As is usual with Spoonbill games, the game outputs to microsoft sapi, and contains large high contrast graphics as well as extensive instructions and the ability to play midi music. Also as is usual with Spoonbill's titles, it's absolutely free.
