Description
Hack was originally a simple but amusing tactical battle game produced for the Blazy Note taker platform by Dan Z games in the late 90's. Now however, thanks to Forum member Harrylst, we can enjoy all that destructive fun once again. Take up your basic note taker with only a few k of ram and try to hack/fight your way across the rather small internet world of the early nineties. Visit the hacker cafe for tips, tricks and maybe an unauthorised item or two, then earn cash smashing your way through enemy note takers, taking their ram to zero occasionally earning disks that can upgrade your own machine. Use your cash to upgrade your ram or buy ever devastating weapons such as the dreaded cold reset to prepare for tougher battles.
Eventually of course, take on a fearsome boss with aa souped up machine in order to level up and hopefully become hacker champion.
With output to Nvda, or sapi and a very simple interface where you push keys for actions, the game should be easy to play, although winning your hacker battles might be less so. Best of all, it’s free.
