Kchess elite is the updated version of the Kchess advanced program, containing all the features of Kchess advanced pluss some new ones to give you an even better chess experience.
Additional features include a glossery of chess terminology, including official names of openings, ability to set up custome board layouts to explore different positions and stratogies, even more available hints and coaching tips for new and improving players, which can be displayed as a commentary during play so as to get on the spot tuition, the ability to save and load chess game files from the internet, and even have your games converted in html so that you can post them directly on the net.
also like Kchess Advanced, kchess elite is fully screen reader accessible, with available script files for jaws and window eyes, though it does have graphics. It also has the ability to enlarge the board, choose a variety of square colours and and choose different images for the pieces which might be helpful to some visually impared players. you can also choose to have a male or female voice announce your opponent's moves.
Kchess also works very well with hal.
