Description
Wordfinder is a rif on the classic boggle game. Presented with a grid of letters, the object is to run across that grid horizontally, and vertically finding different words. Of course, as in boggle, you are not just limited to one direction, or even using one letter at a time either making it a challenge to your spacial logic as well as your vocabulary. To play, simply tap the first letter of the word you want to uncover, then tap each subsequent letter until the word is finished. The game has over twenty eight thousand puzzles, dictionaries in Italian, French, German and Swedish. You can also change the type of grid on offer as well, and choose to play with a simple line or a circle rather than the standard boggle 3 x 3 type grid.
If all this isn't enough, as well as the puzzles in classic mode, there is unlock mode. Here, the object is to use all the letters to create words rather than find a predetermined set of words in a given group of letters. You can even enter your own puzzles into the game too.
All of this is available at just 99 English pence, that's 79 American cents or a similarly small amount of Euros.
