The current status of Gamesfortheblind and their titles is unknown, as their site and download links have vanished from the internet. Also, according to those who did purchase their games, apparently they no longer work correctly with versions of Windows later than 7.
Wordscramble is unsurprisingly a self voicing word game involving the old principle of rearranging some nonsensically jumbled letters to form a certain word. After you've placed all letters as you wish them, the computer will let you know how many are in correct positions, so logic can be used as well as a good knolidge of the English language. Each game comprises five words which you must unscramble as quickly as possible in order to get a high score.
As with the other Sv games in the games for the blind lineup, the eloquence speech synthesisor comes packaged with each game to provide the self-voicing element, and a 15 day free trial is available to let you evaluate the game.
