Description

Tiflo 21 is a blind-accessible Windows version of the popular Blackjack card game. The game has been developed by the Puerto Rico Assistive Technology Program (PRATP), FILIUS Institute of the University of Puerto Rico and by José M. Alvarez (Manolo), founder of the web portal Manolo.Net, and currently the Accesibility Project Manager of the Puerto Rico Assistive Technology Program, University of Puerto Rico.

Tiflo 21 starts when the dealer gets two cards, one face up, one face down. Then, you are dealt two cards face up. You either stays or takes more cards to try and get closer to 21 without busting. Then, the dealer turns up the down card. By rule, on counts of 17 or higher the dealer must stay; on counts of 16 or lower the dealer must draw. If you make a total of 21 with the first two cards (a 10 or a face and an Ace), you win automatically, unless the dealer also has Blackjack, in which case it is a Tie. The winner of Tiflo 21, is the first that reach 5 wins.

Tiflo 21 can be play by using either the keyboard or mouse. The game is self voicing, and includes the option of playing the game in the Spanish or English language.
