Jim kitchin's Golf game is absolutely the largest, most fiendishly complex and down right addictive audio golf program you will find anywhere! As per the rules of the popular sport, attempt to get your ball into each of the 18 holes on the various courses in as few shots as possible, then once on the green, put the ball neatly into the hole. Of course with sand traps, ruff, and even lakes and ponds for your ball to fall into, this is often easier said than done.

Jim kitchin's wingolf program lets you play through every aspect of the game from the comfort of your PC, everything from selecting the right club from your bag, wood, iron or pitching wedge, to giving the right swing (accomplished by carefully judging an escalating tone in a sound file), and a vast variety of golfing situations, sand traps, bunkers and slopes.

Thanks to various course statistics (not the least being how many eagles and birdies you achieved), you can always keep up with your par on each course. And speaking of courses there are literally hundreds!

Thanks to the quick and simple Golf course maker which comes with the main Golf program, the game now includes a massive 342 courses written by various fans, often taking place in interesting locations such as Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry or even middle earth.

As in all of Jim kitchin's games, with the use of the in built microsoft Sapi synthesiser, everything is of course completely self voicing. Also, as with all of Jim's other games, Wingolf is completely free.

As all of Jim’s games install into the same folder you’ll need to install The winkit installer found here, which also adds many of the visual basic dependencies necessary to run not only Jim’s games, but many other’s on modern Windows, though if you have those already you can just download the above file.

If you want to try out Jim's earlier version of Golf, which was self voicing rather than using microsoft sapi, you can Download that here

Jim Kitchin sadly passed away on August the 2nd, 2015. To learn more about the late great Jim Kitchin and his vast collection of games, you can Visit the Kitchinsinc page on the Audiogames archive site Which also contains one giant installer so that you can get all of Jim's games in one handy package. Goodbye Jim, you will be sorely missed.
